My background

I am New Zealand born and bred, considered myself an Australian after living in the warmth of Queensland for over 20 years, and am an English resident. I love this English countryside and the seasons (except the drizzly, cold, wet part of winter!).The close proximity of so many interesting and varied countries enthuses me, as do the people.
My life has involved teaching, farming, all aspects of retail enterprise, business management, finance, computers, plus communications and healthcare. As a result of this wonderful variation I have an affinity with many of my clients.

Professional accreditation

After completing both my Diploma, and Practitioners Diploma, in Clinical Hypnosis, at the well known London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH) , I am running a successful hypnotherapy practice both at my home in Knebworth and in Moorgate, London .

I am combining this with more study, at present a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy 8 month course, plus supervising and tutoring at the LCCH , and attendance at comprehensive hypnotherapy master classes. These have included smoking cessation, fertility, pregnancy and childbirth, whole brain learning, working with children, and IBS to name a few. To add to these I also specialise in assisting cancer care and rehabilitation

A wide variety of techniques are used to ensure change, selected to suit each individual. I also participate in hypnotherapists self help groups and forums in both Herts and London.

You can be assured that, as a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis , a certified member of the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and Register, and a member of the Hypnotherapy Association, I will look after you well. I practice under a strict code of ethics and your confidentiality is totally respected. I also have an approved NHS supplier number.

In summary

As a competent hypnotherapist my personal skills are in listening, understanding, motivation and life coaching. My professional skills cover a gamut of symptoms and techniques. No matter how you want to improve yourself through hypnotherapy I would like to help, or refer you to someone who can.
